Aviatrix Systems Achieves AWS Networking Competency Status

Selected as first Networking Competency partner for “Connectivity” focus

LAS VEGAS--()--AWS re:Invent 2017Aviatrix, a pioneer in cloud networking, today announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Networking Competency status in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and is one of the first APN Partners included in the program’s Connectivity focus. The AWS Networking Competency designation recognizes that Aviatrix provides deep cloud networking and infrastructure expertise and proven technology to help organizations adopt, migrate to and scale on AWS.

Achieving the AWS Networking Competency status differentiates Aviatrix as an AWS APN member that provides specialized, demonstrated technical proficiency and proven networking success with a specific focus on secure network connectivity to and on AWS. To receive this designation, APN Partners must possess substantial AWS expertise and deliver solutions that are purposely “well architected” with deep integration on AWS.

In achieving the AWS Networking Competency status, Aviatrix also demonstrated the ability to provide valuable cloud networking features such as intelligent packet processing, global transit routing, inter-region peering, auto-scaling and fault tolerance.

“Attaining AWS Networking Competency status represents an important milestone in our company’s history,” said Steven Mih, CEO of Aviatrix. “Being first to the program’s Connectivity focus speaks volumes about our built-for-cloud approach, which eliminates the networking pain of operating in hybrid cloud environments. Aviatrix delivers ‘network as code,’ a dramatic advance over vRouters that enables cloud and DevOps teams to deploy and change cloud connections at cloud speeds—securely, reliably and without requiring traditional networking skills. As a result, every organization running workloads on Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) can dynamically and automatically take advantage of the full range of AWS services.”

AWS enables scalable, flexible and cost-effective solutions to organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Partner Competency Program to help its customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with significant industry experience and expertise.

Aviatrix delivers a software-only, API-driven solution that makes cloud connectivity easy, secure and scalable. Fully integrated with AWS, the Aviatrix solution enables cloud connectivity to happen at cloud speeds. Aviatrix takes the complex, time-consuming and skills-dependent process of establishing and running networking in the cloud—including securely interconnecting Amazon VPCs across the AWS global footprint, connecting VPCs to enterprises’ on-premises datacenters and enabling remote access to cloud-based resources—and transforms it into a point-and-click process ideal for the DevOps and CloudOps world.
