New brand strengthens focus on business travelers’ experience through technology and hospitality.

SAN FRANCISCO--()--2nd Address, formerly known as Homesuite, has undergone a rebrand as the company strengthens its offering to best serve business travelers seeking extended stay furnished housing rentals. The rebrand illustrates the company’s journey over the past two years: from launching a marketplace of vetted, trustworthy Guests and Hosts to now concentrating on the technology and hospitality experience to make business travel easier and more enjoyable.

Backed by Google Ventures, Foundation Capital, and Battery Ventures among others, the company launched in 2015 and quickly set out to modernize the furnished rentals space. The company was able to streamline and digitize a process that at the time required a lot of legwork, including scouring various websites and manual vetting. As the company grew, the municipal legislation landscape shifted, with many U.S. cities furthering restrictions to short-term rentals (fewer than 30 days). As a result, the industry became more confusing for many renters and property owners which increased the company’s value to both groups.
