Monetate CEO Lucinda Duncalfe Named Finalist in Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Industry Veteran Recognized For Commitment to Personalization in 14th Annual Awards

NEW YORK--()--Monetate, the worldwide leader in personalization, today announced that its CEO Lucinda Duncalfe was named a Finalist in the 14th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the Female Executive of the Year, Business Products, category.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

As current CEO and president, and longtime board member of the company, Duncalfe has helped shape Monetate over the past nine years into the leading personalization solution provider for top consumer brands across U.S. and EMEA markets. Under Duncalfe's leadership, Monetate developed a first-of-its kind personalization platform, the Monetate Intelligent Personalization Engine, powered by machine learning capabilities that enable true 1-to-1 interactions. Duncalfe was also instrumental in relocating Monetate's headquarters to New York City in early 2017, enabling the company to better serve its clients, particularly in the fashion and retail markets.

“I’m honored to be named as a finalist for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The finalists are all impressive and I’m humbled to be among them,” said Duncalfe. “Individual recognition like this makes me uncomfortable, as all accomplishments in business are made by teams. At Monetate, we’ve been able to leapfrog the industry by building a true 1:1 cross-channel personalization platform, based on our founder’s vision, the hard, smart work of our entire team, and collaborative clients. I’m simply the frontwoman for all of their excellence.”

Finalists were chosen by more than 170 professionals worldwide serving on five specialized judging committees. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 17. Jurors’ average scores will also determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the finalists, which will be revealed at the event in New York. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the USA and several other countries are expected to attend. The event will be broadcast on Livestream.

“Every year we say that the current crop of Stevies for Women nominations couldn’t be better, and the next year we’re proven wrong,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “The judges’ scores and comments bear witness to the fact that this year we will honor a truly remarkable class of women and women-led organizations in New York on November 17.”

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Details about the Stevie Awards for Women in Business and the list of finalists in all categories are available at www.StevieAwards.com/Women.

About Monetate
Monetate, the global leader in personalization software for consumer-facing brands, enables marketers to create truly individual experiences that surprise and delight every customer, increasing engagement and improving performance.

Monetate’s approach to personalization starts with the understanding that each individual is unique, and instantly chooses the best interaction for each one. Unlike testing, which identifies the best choice for everyone, or segmentation, which defines the best choice for a group of people, Monetate’s 1-to-1 personalization engine reflects the full diversity of human beings and creates an experience for each one, in each moment.

In order to deliver true 1-to-1 experiences, Monetate’s platform is:

  • Independent, so you can use any best of breed solution in your marketing stack and not be tied to one vendor’s offerings;
  • Open, so marketers can use all of their data wherever it sits, push a decision to any touchpoint and pull the results back into their data/analytics infrastructure;
  • Real-time, to enable interactions based on a customer’s in-session behavioral and event data that get their attention in increasingly narrow buying windows; and
  • Bionic, giving the creative marketer the power to manage a machine learning engine and operate at 1-to-1 scale, for real.

Founded in 2008, with offices across the U.S. and Europe, Monetate is used by leading brands around the world and influences billions of dollars in revenue every year for The North Face, QVC, J.Crew Group, and hundreds of other market leaders.
