Foremost Companies Celebrates the Highly Anticipated Opening of Terramor, a Gated Master-Planned Community in Southern California’s Temescal Valley

A grand celebration event on May 20th will feature the debut of the designer-furnished model homes at Cortina by Del Webb, Terramor’s first 55+ neighborhood, as well as a sneak peek of four additional new home neighborhoods opening soon

CORONA, Calif.--()--Foremost Companies has announced the grand opening of Terramor, a unique new gated community being developed in a prime location within Riverside County. As the master developer of Terramor, Foremost Companies is hosting a grand celebration event filled with live music and entertainment on May 20, 2017, to debut the model homes within its newest neighborhood, Cortina by Del Webb. The company will also be unveiling The Veranda, an all-age resort-style club equipped with an outdoor pool, entertaining areas, and more. Homes are now selling within the new community, which, upon completion, will include 1,443 single-family homes spanning sixteen neighborhoods.

Del Webb is building the first two neighborhoods, Cortina and Ardena, where they plan to construct 240 single-family homes for 55+ buyers within a variety of modern styles and floor plans ranging from 1,579 to 2,172 square feet. “Pre-sales for Del Webb’s two communities started April 22 and a remarkable 14 homes have been sold to date,” said Chris Edgar, division president for Del Webb Southern California. “Between the two sold-out informational sales seminars and queries from our interest lists, these two actively sought neighborhoods are proving the demand for 55+ housing in this region, and are a testament to the community as a whole.” Del Webb’s accompanying 55+ neighborhood, Ardena, is opening just around the corner in June.

Along with Del Webb, phase one builders also include KB Home, which will build two all-age neighborhoods, Sorrel and Caraway, totaling 170 two-story homes that will range from approximately 2,200 to 2,700 square feet. The neighborhoods are anticipated to open this summer. Additionally, CalAtlantic Homes will build an active adult neighborhood of 105 home sites called Sterling, which will offer four new one- and two-story home designs that will range in size from approximately 2,200 to 2,500 square feet. Sterling is expected to open this winter.

Terramor’s unique multigenerational community will be interlaced with over five miles of trails and paseos that connect to a broader trail system, bringing walking and hiking opportunities for active adults and families of all ages. Surrounded by nature, the trails will offer gorgeous terrain, rolling trails, and picturesque views, while providing the convenience of shaded rest areas, water access, and restrooms. Numerous other parks and outdoor amenities, including large and small dog parks, community garden, ball fields, a basketball court, tennis courts, and tot lots, will provide year-round recreation for all residents.

One of the most anticipated amenities at Terramor is The Terrace Club, a six-acre recreational area with a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse exclusively for 55+ residents. At its core is a resort-style pool with surrounding cabanas offering relaxation and socialization, while an indoor pool, extensive fitness center, tennis, bocce ball and pickleball courts give residents the opportunity to be actively engaged. The living room, crafts room, ballroom, and other multipurpose rooms will provide spaces for gathering, entertainment, and socializing throughout the year.

While The Terrace Club at Terramor will offer an exclusive gathering space for its 55+ residents, The Veranda, a social center for all residents, will include a fitness center, a second outdoor pool with both sundecks and a toddler pool with a beach entrance, and outdoor barbecue and entertaining areas that also provide accommodations for both private and community events for all residents to enjoy, connect, and socialize.
