AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Q2 Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:QTWO), a leading provider of secure, cloud-based virtual banking solutions, announced today that Founder and Chairman of the Board Hank Seale and CEO Matt Flake won the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Central Texas Award. It is Flake and Seale’s second consecutive nomination and first win.
The award—whose winners were selected by an independent panel of judges—recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Flake and Seale were announced as winners at the annual event on Thursday, June 9, at the J.W. Marriott in Austin, Texas.
A serial entrepreneur, Seale founded Q2 in 2004 to build digital banking technologies that empower regional and community financial institutions to effectively engage and develop better relationships with their account holders and communities.
Flake was named CEO of Q2 in 2012 and was instrumental in taking the company public in 2014 and in making several target acquisitions that have contributed to the growth and culture of innovation at Q2. Together, Flake and Seale have developed Q2 into a leading virtual banking solutions provider that services approximately 6.8 million individual users and more than 250 million online interactions every month.
