ALPFA New York Chapter Announces Formation of the Inaugural Senior Leadership Council (SLC)

NEW YORK--()--ALPFA, the Association of Latino Professionals for America, the largest membership-based organization serving Latino/a professionals, entrepreneurs and students announced today the establishment of its New York Senior Leadership Council (SLC). The SLC will provide strategic direction and mentorship to the New York Chapter and comprise some of the most senior Latino/s leaders of New York’s corporate, educational, government, social and cultural organizations.

The inaugural ALPFA New York SLC will consist of the following members:

  • Ted Acosta, Americas Vice Chair, Risk Management, EY
  • Orlando Camargo, Principal, The Dilenschneider Group and President ALPFA New York Chapter
  • Pedro Garcia Sanchez, Managing Director, Banking Global Client Account Lead, Accenture
  • Noreen Gillen, CFP®, CRPC® CPWA®, Wealth Management Advisor, The Snyder/Balducci Group, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
  • Jose Ramon Gonzalez, Chief Legal Officer, QBE North America
  • Rosa Ramos-Kwok, Managing Director, Global Technology and Operations, Bank of America
  • Pete Rodriguez, MD/CAO Asset Servicing, BNYMellon
  • Frank Sanchez, Vice Chancellor, City University of New York

“The establishment of a senior leadership team for ALPFA’s New York Chapter is another step in aligning our objectives closer to our partners and to the communities we serve,” said Orlando Camargo, President of the ALPFA New York Chapter.

ALPFA New York Chapter’s close to 8,000 members include professionals who volunteer on the ALPFA New York Operating Committee to plan and execute programming and activities that empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy.

Founded in 1972, ALPFA supports over 72,000 Latino students, professionals, and entrepreneurs through its 43 professional chapters across the country and more than 155 student chapters at major colleges and universities.
