SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--()--ShipHawk, the leading provider of shipping technology and intelligence for online retailers, announced today the appointment of Sharon Goldstein as Chief Revenue Officer. Goldstein joins the company as ShipHawk expands the breadth of its offerings to customers. Her responsibilities include the alignment and leadership of the sales and marketing teams, along with setting and executing the company’s monetization strategy, customer acquisition, and sales enablement initiatives.

ShipHawk is changing the way retailers manage both the approach and the economics of product fulfillment. The company’s shipping intelligence platform provides access to the best carrier pricing, logistics automation, and optimal delivery options, with complete visibility throughout the entire fulfillment process. Furthermore, the ShipHawk platform arms retailers with critical cost data, giving them the ability to better manage margins and make merchandising decisions.

“Sharon brings a unique and valuable blend of retail, SaaS, and supply chain experience to ShipHawk,” said Jeremy Bodenhamer, CEO of ShipHawk. “Her background and deep expertise in customer acquisition and monetization make her a perfect fit for this role. I am excited to see the impact she will make on our growing company."

Prior to joining ShipHawk as CRO, Sharon served as an advisor to the company, focusing on growth and go-to-market strategies. She concurrently worked as Executive in Residence at XSeed Capital, a Silicon Valley-based seed fund. Sharon was the CMO of Pixlee, a social commerce company, where she ran the integrated revenue team, launched the company, and brought in enterprise-level customers including Converse and 1-800-FLOWERS.com.

Sharon also served as Shutterfly’s Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, where she evaluated potential partners, and managed the acquisition of TinyPrints ($333M acquisition), the retailer’s largest acquisition to date. She held leadership roles at Photobucket, where she restructured the company’s freemium offering and at RealNetworks, where she helped launch the company’s mobile app. Sharon’s return to the logistics space brings her career full circle, as she began her career at Accenture as a supply chain strategy consultant working with Fortune 1000 retailers including Starbucks and CVS.

“As an advisor, I recognized the potential ShipHawk has to disrupt the retail delivery experience,” Goldstein said. “Our service hits the value trifecta of reducing cost, increasing revenue, and improving the buying experience—benefiting retailers and consumers alike. It’s an exciting time to be in supply chain innovation and this is the team to beat.”

Goldstein holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and an MA in Engineering Management from Northwestern University. She divides her time between San Francisco and Santa Barbara, California.
