HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--G&A Partners, a national professional employer organization and HR services provider, announced that it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary later this month. Founded in 1995 by Tony Grijalva and John W. Allen, G&A Partners has become a leader in the PEO and HR outsourcing industry, providing its clients with proven solutions and technology that alleviate the burden of administrative HR.
Grijalva and Allen met in 1983 while they were working together at a national accounting firm. When the opportunity presented itself years later, they decided to go into business together and opened a CPA firm. Their shared experience with government contracts and the FDIC allowed them to enjoy great success working with financial institutions during the savings and loan crisis of the early 1990s. After several years in this accounting business, however, they decided to change their business model to incorporate human resources. In 1995, they bought a struggling temporary staffing agency and created G&A StaffSourcing, which would then become G&A Outsourcing and, eventually, G&A Partners.
Although G&A began as a temp agency, Grijalva and Allen quickly decided to change their focus to the human resources outsourcing and professional employer organization (PEO) industry, and have since made it their mission to make G&A Partners the preeminent privately held PEO in the world.
Over the past 20 years, G&A Partners has established itself as an industry leader and has been repeatedly recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. The award that means the most to the company’s founders, however, is one that recognizes G&A’s performance as an employer.
