Consumer Cellular Offers More Minutes, Texts and Data to Current No-Contract Plans without Raising Prices

Customers receive additional usage with no increase in cost for 6th consecutive year

PORTLAND, Ore.--()--Consumer Cellular (, the number one rated cell phone service provider and exclusive wireless provider for AARP members, is increasing allowances for its voice, text and data plans with no change to current pricing. In addition, current subscribers will have the more robust plans retroactively applied to their April bill. Depending on the no-contract Anywhere Voice Plan and Connect! Text Messages & Data Plan selected, customers will receive up to 1,000 additional minutes and texts, as well as up to 100% more data for the same cost.

Depending on the plan selected, Consumer Cellular has increased allowances on calling plans with 25-33 percent more minutes, doubled text messages for lower use plans, and increased data plans by 25-100 percent.
