NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Times Square was trashified today thanks to a special delivery from Australian toy company Moose Toys. In a one-of-a-kind Trash Pack dump truck, the company unveiled The Trash Pack™ Series Three this afternoon with the first delivery of the toys to Toys“R”Us® Times Square. The third collection of the popular line of garbage-themed collectible toys is available starting this week exclusively at Toys“R”Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com/TrashPack.
Throughout the day, The Trash Pack Trash Crew handed out 20,000 of some of the first Series Three samples to fans young and old to build excitement about the launch. In addition, fans had the opportunity to take photos with the truck, the Trash Pack Trash Crew street team and two Trash Pack characters – Blow Fly and Trash-A-Pillar – in front of Toys“R”Us Times Square. Families were encouraged to play with the toys in-store where they received a free gift with any Trash Pack purchase.

Series Three of the immensely popular gross gang from the garbage features bright blue garbage cans, color-changing Trashies, five Limited Edition characters, including Grimy Gold, Trash Cash and Rott Vault, and a new family of ultra rare Wall Crawler Movie Trashies that stick to the wall and are inspired by all the disgusting delights one might find in a movie theater. With the addition of 173 new Series Three Trashies, there are now over 500 Trashies for fans to play with and collect.
The Trash Pack dump truck will visit the Ronald McDonald House® New York on Sunday, October 7 for another special delivery. The Trash Pack crew will unload boxes of donated Moose toys from the truck and provide entertainment for the children and their families. The organization provides temporary housing for children battling cancer and their families while the child receives treatment at one or more of 13 nearby partnering hospitals throughout the city. Ronald McDonald House® New York is the largest facility of its kind out of more than 300 worldwide.
The Trash Pack was named to the Toys“R”Us “Fabulous 15” list for the 2011 holiday season and is predicted to top holiday wish lists again this holiday season with the unveiling of the third series.
