NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jefferies today announced Steven Latimer has joined as a Managing Director and Head of Canadian Investment Banking, and will initially focus on the Metals and Mining sector. He will be based in Toronto.

Mr. Latimer has more than 22 years of investment banking experience and joins Jefferies from Credit Suisse, where he was Head of Canadian Metals and Mining Investment Banking and based in Toronto. Previously, he spent 15 years at UBS Securities in Investment Banking based in Toronto and Calgary. Mr. Latimer graduated from the Honours Business Administration program at The University of Western Ontario and received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
