DocuSign Expands European Office

VP of U.S. Sales Takes Managing Director of Europe Role

LONDON--()--DocuSign (www.docusign.com), the leader in electronic signature with more than eighty million documents DocuSigned on its global network across more than fifty countries, announced it is expanding its European office. To further support growing worldwide demand, DocuSign recently added browser-aware localisation supporting thirty-nine languages, and today announced that it is expanding its level of international investment by moving key staff and executives to London – including the company’s vice president of U.S. Sales who will become the managing director for Europe.

“With the DocuSign Global Network growing to nearly ten million DocuSigners worldwide and adding more than thirty thousand new users every day, now is the time to expand internationally to take advantage of DocuSign’s continued momentum in the marketplace,” said Keith Krach, chairman and CEO of DocuSign. “DocuSign is committed to helping customers around the globe accelerate the speed of business with the easiest, fastest, and most secure way to get a signature.”

European customers – like British Gas, BP, Fleetmatics, Guardian 24, Martin & Co., and MoneyDirect – are already using DocuSign’s secure eSignature solution to decrease transaction times, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

"Immediately after purchasing DocuSign, we doubled our capacity for processing lease transactions,” said Eduardo Prato, director at Martin & Co. Aberdeen. “With that kind of productivity improvement, it’s no wonder that DocuSign has become the global standard for eSignature."

"With DocuSign's electronic signature solution, we've cut our average time to sign a contract from months to literally days," said Vidette Humphries of Guardian 24. "DocuSign allows us visibility and tracking of outstanding documentation, saving us hours and hours of man time."

Bob DeSantis, vice president of U.S. Sales, will relocate to London to become managing director for Europe. Marc Carlson has joined DocuSign to take on the role of vice president of North American Enterprise Sales. Marc brings more than 25 years experience to the role, including executive and leadership positions in sales, marketing and operations at Microposite, Ariba, Rasna and General Motors. Bob’s upcoming move and the addition of Marc to DocuSign’s leadership team reinforce the company’s focus on customer success. Global customers who have standardised on DocuSign for electronic signature – like salesforce.com, Expedia and LinkedIn – will benefit alongside those based in Europe with local support and services from the London office.
