Sitel Celebrates Grand Opening of Best Buy Contact Center Facility

August 10 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at New Glasgow, Kentucky Site

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Sitel, a leading global customer care outsourcing provider, announced today the grand opening of the Company’s Glasgow, Kentucky contact center facility, which is dedicated entirely to providing customer support for Best Buy Co., Inc. To celebrate the event, Sitel is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:15 p.m. CDT on August 10, 2011. Local and state government officials and Sitel and Best Buy executives are expected to be in attendance.

Sitel announced the partnership with Best Buy in January 2011 to support the retailer’s sales, service and technical support programs. Since then, Sitel has hired more than 600 call center agent and management-level positions at the Glasgow site to manage inbound call, outbound call, email and interactive chat services for Best Buy nationwide.
