CertifID Bolsters Executive Team with Two Senior Leaders Following $47.5M Series C

Fresh off a $47.5M Series C, CertifID adds two executive leaders to drive the next chapter of its fight against wire fraud

AUSTIN, Texas & GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CertifID, the leading wire fraud protection platform for the real estate industry, today announced the appointment of Josh Linn as Chief Product Officer and Liz Conn as Chief Marketing Officer. The hires come on the heels of CertifID’s $47.5 million Series C funding round led by Centana Growth Partners and mark a significant expansion of the company’s leadership bench as wire fraud threats continue to evolve.

CertifID has blocked more than $285 million in confirmed fraudulent transactions in 2025, verified over 1.5 million mortgage payoffs, and returned more than $126 million to fraud victims to date. With new capital and two seasoned executives now in place, CertifID is better positioned than ever to protect consumers and businesses when the stakes are highest. “The increase in sophistication and frequency of attacks in the age of AI is alarming,” said Tyler Adams, Co-Founder and CEO of CertifID. “Josh and Liz join us at a pivotal moment, and together we’re setting a new standard for protecting life-changing transactions.”

A Product Leader Built for This Moment

Josh Linn joins as Chief Product Officer with more than two decades of experience building the systems that underpin digital trust across banking, payments, identity, and financial technology. He will lead product, design, and data strategy with a focus on delivering a seamless and secure closing experience, making the entire real estate transaction faster, smarter, and more accessible for real estate professionals and beyond.

Before CertifID, Josh held senior product and technology leadership roles at top-five banking institutions and most recently at Socure, a leader in digital identity verification. His work has shaped products used by billions of people globally, spanning customer onboarding, fraud prevention, payments, and compliance infrastructure. He is the primary inventor on two published and two pending patents in identity resolution and knowledge graph systems, and has advised on AI governance frameworks for organizations across financial services and government.

“Wire fraud in real estate isn’t a niche problem; it’s one of the most consequential identity and payments challenges in financial services today,” said Linn. “What drew me to CertifID is the opportunity to build something that goes well beyond transaction protection. The identity, payments, and trust infrastructure we’re building to protect a closing can become the foundation for a much broader financial platform anchored to the home. The Series C gives us the runway to do that right, and to do it at scale.”

A Marketing Leader Who Knows the Playbook

Liz Conn joins as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing deep experience driving growth and brand strategy across B2B SaaS technology companies. In her role, Conn will be responsible for elevating CertifID's brand and driving awareness of wire fraud as one of the most urgent threats facing real estate professionals and consumers today.

Most recently, Liz served as SVP of Marketing at Sayari, where she helped scale the business into a recognized leader in third-party and supplier risk solutions for global enterprises and governments. Prior to Sayari, she led growth marketing at Logi Analytics, seeing the company through its acquisition by Insight Software. “I had a front-row seat to what Centana-backed companies can accomplish when the market timing, the mission, and the capital are all aligned, and CertifID has all three,” said Conn. “Wire fraud is one of the most urgent crises in real estate, and most consumers don’t know the risk they’re taking until it’s too late. There’s a massive opportunity to change that story, and I’m here to help tell it.”
