Fiduciary Trust International Continues to Expand Nationwide Presence, Adding Portfolio Managers in Three Northeast Offices

Experienced Investment Management Professionals Strengthen Firm’s Presence in New York City, Lincoln, MA and Radnor, PA

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, welcomes new portfolio managers in three offices across the Mid-Atlantic and New England. Lisa Thors and Anthony Peros have joined in Lincoln, MA and Radnor, PA, respectively, and Tim Herpertz has started in the firm’s headquarters in New York, NY.

  • Lisa Thors began as a portfolio manager in the Lincoln, MA office on March 2. She has an impressive track record of managing portfolios for multi-generational private wealth clients across family partnerships, private foundations, and trusts. Ms. Thors was previously director of business strategy and senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Earlier in her career, she spent 16 years at Wellington Management Co., most recently as director, relationship manager, and managing director. Ms. Thors is a member of the board of trustees of Boston University, where she is chair of the finance and budget committee. She received her MBA with a concentration in finance from Harvard University, and graduated from Yale University with a bachelor of arts in American Studies.
  • Anthony Peros, CFA joined the firm as a portfolio manager in the Radnor, PA office on March 16. He joins from BlackRock, where he was a director and senior portfolio manager. He has also spent time at Citi Investment Management, where he served as senior portfolio manager and oversaw the tailored discretionary portfolio platform in North America. Prior to that he worked at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management for 10 years. Mr. Peros has significant experience in managing multi-asset-class portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth and institutional clients, working to craft and execute strategies for delivering excess returns while mitigating downside risk. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and graduated from Connecticut College with a bachelor of arts in history and government.
  • Tim Herpertz, CFA joined the firm as a portfolio manager in New York, NY on April 6. He was most recently a director, senior portfolio manager, and fund manager in the wealth management division at Deutsche Bank, where he was part of the team for more than 12 years. During his tenure at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Herpertz managed portfolios encompassing multi-asset strategies for individual and institutional clients in the U.S. and other countries. He was also a member of Deutsche Bank’s U.S. regional investment committee and co-chair of the investment advisory and trust investment groups. Mr. Herpertz, who holds the CFA designation, earned his master of science in banking and finance from ZHAW School of Management and Law in Switzerland. He also graduated from Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University in Germany with a bachelor of arts in business administration and banking. Mr. Herpertz is fluent in English and German.
