This partnership will focus on helping local government leaders address critical infrastructure challenges and provide their residents with affordable, reliable solutions for emergency repairs to the so-called “last mile” of pipes that connect homes to municipal systems. Through the collaboration, HomeServe will work with ICMA members to educate them on establishing service line programs that protect homeowners from the high cost of unexpected repairs to water and sewer lines on their property.

“We are honored to partner with ICMA, an organization that shares our decades long commitment to supporting local government and fostering resilient communities,” said Tom Rusin, CEO of HomeServe North America. “City and county managers are on the front lines of service delivery and infrastructure management. Through this alliance, we are excited to empower these dedicated professionals with the tools and resources they need to strengthen community infrastructure, protect their residents, and provide them with greater peace of mind.”

ICMA’s Strategic Partnership Program connects local government decision-makers with trusted organizations that contribute to operational excellence. Through the partnership, HomeServe will work directly with ICMA’s membership of more than 14,000 U.S. and Canadian city and county management professionals.
