Boise Hunter Homes Leads Luxury Treasure Valley Home Sales in 2025

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to data from the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service (IMLS), Boise Hunter Homes accounted for 26% of all new-construction home sales priced at $1M or more in Idaho's Treasure Valley in 2025 — making it the region's leading luxury home builder by volume.

One in four luxury new-construction homes sold in the Treasure Valley in 2025 was built by Boise Hunter Homes.

“It’s because we build destination communities,” said Sheridan Hodson, Sales Manager at Boise Hunter Homes. “We build beautiful homes, but the exceptional locations, world-class amenities, and lifestyle afforded by our communities are unmatched.”

The luxury home segment has seen significant growth across the Treasure Valley, with 2025 marking a record year. According to Build Idaho's analysis of Ada and Canyon County sales data, $1M+ home transactions grew from 158 combined sales in 2019 to 1,204 in 2025 — a nearly 8x increase in six years. Ada County alone recorded 1,002 luxury sales, a 30% year-over-year increase, while Canyon County posted 202 sales, up 37% from 2024. This expansion reflects sustained regional demand and the Treasure Valley's emergence as a destination for high-end homebuyers.

As the market has expanded, buyer preferences have changed. A beautiful, well-designed home is no longer sufficient on its own; the setting carries equal weight. Boise Hunter Homes’ communities—including Dry Creek Ranch, River Park Estates, Harris North, Harris Ridge, and Sky Mesa—each occupy distinct locations within the Treasure Valley.

  • Dry Creek Ranch offers foothills views and trail access with amenities like an 8,840 sq. ft. community clubhouse, pool, organic farm, equestrian center, full-service coffee shop, sports courts, and wellness program inside the on-site recreational facilities.
  • River Park Estates is Star’s premier waterfront community, defined by lakefront properties, white-sand beaches, pickleball courts, and exclusive access to the Boise River.
  • Harris North and Ridge are situated in the upper Boise foothills, and enjoy some of the best views and walking trails in the city while being less than 10 minutes from downtown.
  • Finally, Sky Mesa is located in south Meridian. The community is a destination for families, with great schools, excellent walkability, and proximity to shopping, dining, and employers like Micron.

These distinctions allow buyers to anchor their housing decisions both home preferences and the lifestyle they want.
