Flint Development Receives Approval for New Industrial Facility at Patriot 95 in Thornburg, VA
PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flint Development, a leading national commercial real estate firm, is pleased to announce it received official approval from Spotsylvania County officials in February to break ground on construction of a premier industrial facility at the Patriot 95 site in Thornburg, Virginia. Located at 6241 Patriot Highway, the project is scheduled to break ground in May.
The new development will feature a 555,675-square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the growing demand for logistics, distribution and manufacturing space along the I-95 corridor. With a 40-foot clear height and strategic proximity to both Richmond and Washington D.C., the project is positioned to attract high-quality tenants and further strengthen the region’s industrial infrastructure including the Kalahari Water Resort that is adjacent to this property.

With a projected total economic investment of $213.5 million, this project is designed to be a long-term economic engine that will generate an estimated $2.3 million in annual tax revenue for Spotsylvania County. Furthermore, the development is expected to support 734 direct jobs at full build-out, in addition to hundreds of indirect and construction-related roles.
