Allvue Launches Nexius Private Equity Data Set Covering 10,000+ Funds and ~$2 Trillion in AUM

The continuously refreshed dataset expands the Nexius Data Platform with large-scale private equity performance benchmarks derived directly from GP workflows

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allvue Systems, LLC (“Allvue”), a leading provider of software and data solutions for private capital markets, today announced the launch of the Nexius Private Equity Data Set, expanding the company’s Nexius Data & Analytics suite with one of the industry’s largest structured datasets for private markets performance benchmarking. By unifying asset-level fidelity with fund-level scale directly from the systems of record, Allvue provides a direct window into an opaque market that has traditionally relied on publicly sourced, delayed and incomplete survey data.

Allvue has harnessed its massive global footprint and trusted client relationships to transform raw, anonymized data into a powerful aggregated engine for market intelligence and benchmarking. Now GPs and LPs can source defensible benchmarks and longitudinal analytics derived directly from their peers’ workflows, rather than relying on inconsistent and potentially outdated survey-based data. The dataset is continuously refreshed, providing firms with up-to-date benchmarks and analytics derived from actual operational data rather than periodic surveys or static submissions.

“While industry benchmarks exist, private markets have lacked access to primary-source, real-time data pulled directly from the granular accounting systems where fund performance is actually managed,” said Dmitri Sedov, Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Allvue Systems. “The Nexius Private Equity Data Set delivers large-scale, continuously refreshed performance data on over 10,000 funds which allows firms to benchmark results, analyze liquidity trends, and strengthen LP reporting with greater confidence.”

Expanding the Nexius Data Platform

The Nexius Data Platform aggregates and standardizes data derived from the operational systems used by nearly 600 private capital firms, governing data representing approximately $9 trillion in assets under management or administration.

The Private Equity Data Set includes:

  • 10,000+ funds and 60,000+ portfolio companies
  • Approximately $2 trillion in AUM represented
  • 70+ standardized performance KPIs
  • Global data coverage

Coverage includes key fund performance metrics such as net IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, Net Asset Value (NAV), capital calls, distributions, and valuation history, structured consistently across vintages, strategies, geographies, and fund sizes.

Combined Credit and Equity Market Coverage

The launch expands Allvue’s Nexius data foundation, which also includes its Private Credit Data Set, introduced in 2025. That dataset provides borrower-level visibility across approximately 75,000 loans and 50,000 borrowers, spanning more than 200 standardized KPIs, including facility structures, covenants, borrower financials, and transaction-level performance data.

As private credit continues to mature as an asset class, market participants are facing increased scrutiny from investors, lenders, and regulators around portfolio transparency, valuation practices, and risk reporting. Firms are responding by seeking more consistent, timely insight into borrower performance, covenant compliance, and portfolio exposures.

The Nexius Private Credit Data Set addresses these needs by enabling lenders and investors to benchmark underwriting structures, analyze covenant patterns, and monitor borrower performance using structured data derived directly from operational workflows.

Together, the private credit and private equity data sets provide both asset-level fidelity and fund-level scale, enabling richer benchmarking and more contextualized analysis across the investment lifecycle. Each data set enhances benchmark accuracy, peer comparability, and the precision of AI-driven insights across underwriting, valuation, and performance workflows. According to Allvue’s 2026 GP Outlook Survey, this remains a critical AI adoption challenge for firms, with only 23% of GPs reporting they are above average in their current use of AI.

By covering both sides of private markets—credit and equity—Nexius enables clients to:

  • Benchmark borrower, facility, and fund performance against anonymized peer cohorts
  • Compare underwriting structures and covenant patterns to executed market transactions
  • Analyze fund-level Net Asset Value (NAV) and underlying asset performance to support the underwriting, risk assessment and monitoring of NAV-based financing solutions
  • Analyze fund pacing, liquidity dynamics, and distribution trends across vintages
  • Support portfolio monitoring, LP reporting, and data-driven risk analysis across private markets

Designed for Modern Data Workflows

Nexius Intelligence addresses private market participants’ growing demand for analytics-ready data sets. Allvue’s survey also found that 97% of respondents place moderate to extreme value on the ability to query critical data across their firm. The platform meets this need by combining systems-of-record data with standardized schemas and governed entitlements.

All data within the Nexius Data Platform is standardized, governed, and continuously refreshed to support analytics and reporting workflows. The platform enables integration into internal analytics environments and is designed to work alongside firms’ first-party operational data and external market data providers, allowing organizations to combine multiple data sources within a unified analytics framework.
