SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Carbon Robotics, the worldwide leader in agriculture AI and robotics, today announced the appointment of Kevan Krysler as Chief Financial Officer. Krysler’s appointment underscores Carbon Robotics’ momentum, as the company surpassed $100 million in annual revenue for its fiscal year ending Jan. 31, 2026, solidifying its position as the preeminent force within agriculture AI.

"I’m very excited to have an industry veteran like Kevan join Carbon Robotics,” said Paul Mikesell, Founder and CEO. “He really gels with our culture and brings public company financial and executive experience to round out our team. This is indicative of Carbon Robotics pushing forward and evolving our leadership to match our rapidly increasing maturity in the market."

Throughout his nearly 30-year career, Krysler has built a distinguished record of driving financial performance and strategic growth at leading technology companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Everpure (formerly Pure Storage, PSTG), where during his tenure, the company delivered substantial revenue, cash flow, and profitability growth. Prior to Everpure, Krysler held a senior finance executive role at VMware and served as a partner at KPMG.

"What drew me to Carbon Robotics is the clarity of its purpose — using advanced AI and robotics as a transformative physical force for good," Krysler said. "Farmers face enormous challenges balancing productivity, sustainability, and rising costs, and Carbon Robotics' AI-driven technology offers a real, scalable, and healthier alternative that delivers measurable positive impact for farmers."

Krysler joins the company at an exciting growth stage, as Carbon Robotics celebrates reaching the significant, $100 million annual revenue milestone. The company has customers in 15 countries worldwide, with a sizable presence in North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. Carbon Robotics recently announced the launch of the world’s first ever Large Plant Model (LPM), a new foundational AI “brain” trained on 150 million plants. The LPM is the foundation for Carbon AI, the decision-making operating system that underpins their industry leading LaserWeeder® and Carbon ATK (Autonomous Tractor Kit) products.
