Avetta Helps Reduce Site-Access Risks Through Expanded Visibility

New Visitor Management capability extends proven oversight beyond suppliers and contractors to include all visitors—so jobsites always remain ready to work

LEHI, Utah & HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avetta®, the leader in intelligent work readiness across global supply chains, today introduced Visitor Management, a new capability within its AI-powered Avetta One platform. The feature extends Avetta’s established oversight of supplier and contractor site access to now include all non‑employee visitors—such as guests and one‑time vendors—bringing them all into a single workflow inside Avetta's broader risk and compliance suite so jobsites remain safe, secure and compliant.

For many businesses, visibility and governance of supplier and contractor site access is formalized and closely monitored, yet other visitors can go untracked or managed with siloed or cumbersome manual processes. For example, 70% of facilities still use outdated, unreliable paper visitor logs. The result is increased exposure to safety, security and operational risks, driven by inefficient coordination, limited visibility and inconsistent access controls.

By extending the Worker Management module within Avetta One, Visitor Management closes this gap, seamlessly including every non-employee entering a facility into the same solution customers already rely on for supplier and contractor oversight. Rather than requiring a separate tool, it leverages Avetta’s existing compliance architecture to deliver real‑time occupancy insight; consistent site‑access governance; and digitized, audit‑ready records. The result is a unified, scalable approach to site presence that strengthens safety, security and operational control across every facility.

“With increasing risks from every direction, businesses need confidence that anyone who steps onto a site—not just employees, suppliers and contractors but everyone—is accounted for with the same level of clarity and consistency,” said Dawn Andre, Chief Product Officer at Avetta. “By extending Worker Management within the Avetta platform to include Visitor Management, we’re giving customers the visibility and governance they need to protect workers, reduce risk and ensure every person entering a site is accounted for. The result is safer, more controlled operations where decisions are faster, audits are simpler and every location remains ready to work.”

Additional highlights of Visitor Management include:

  • Browser‑based deployment: Accessible through a dedicated Visitor Management URL, supporting both kiosk mode (tablet) and standard desktop browsers without requiring a mobile app or proprietary software.
  • No proprietary hardware: Runs on standard tablets and desktops and integrates seamlessly with common label printers for immediate badge printing.
  • Secure, site‑level enablement: Organizations can choose where and how Visitor Management is activated, ensuring full control over site‑specific workflows and governance.

“Extending the same site access system that’s used for suppliers and contractors to other visitors—all within the Avetta ecosystem—will give customers a complete, dependable view of who’s on site,” said Nathan Goldstein, Senior Manager at Verdantix. “They can standardize expectations across locations, reduce manual steps and walk into audits with confidence.”
