Four-building complex capitalizes on prime Buckhead location, existing infrastructure, and spec suite program to meet growing demand for best-in-class medical office space

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CP Group, a value-add owner-operator of office properties across the Sunbelt, today announced plans for Buckhead Medical Center (BMC), a dedicated Class A medical office destination within Piedmont Center, the 2.2-million-square-foot campus in Atlanta’s business district. Situated at 3495 Piedmont Road, Buckhead Medical reimagines the complex's four southernmost buildings as a patient-friendly, amenity-rich medical office complex. Formerly referred to as The Fountains at Piedmont Center, or Buildings 9-12, Buckhead Medical Center is centrally located among the city's major healthcare systems and offers immediate access to Georgia Highway 400, positioning the project as the most accessible medical office in Buckhead. The announcement builds on CP Group's recently unveiled master plan that will transform the entire 14-building Piedmont Center into a vibrant, mixed-use campus.

With the planned improvements, this centralized campus experience creates a golden opportunity for medical office users of all sizes and specialties, from large multi-specialty and behavioral health providers to new or small firms hoping to scale in place. This specialized offering is further validated by the fact that Piedmont Center already supports 21 medical office users, exceeding 85,000 square feet, across the project.

Buckhead Medical Center will feature an array of capital improvements designed to optimize both the patient and provider experience. These enhancements include a newly constructed patient drop-off area, prominent building signage along Piedmont Road, and an advanced digital wayfinding system featuring interactive directories and updated signage. It will also offer an upgraded on-site café, dedicated pharmacy space, a patient parking deck, valet service, and a transportation lounge.

Beyond patient care, BMC is designed with physicians’ operational needs in mind, integrating amenities rarely found in a standard clinical setting. Tenants will have exclusive access to a dedicated physicians’ lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and designated physician parking. Buckhead Medical Center’s existing building infrastructure further sets it apart, as it is already equipped to accommodate surgical and imaging uses, allowing providers to efficiently integrate specialized clinical operations without the complexity of retrofitting a traditional office building.
