Titan Development partners with Onset Hospitality to create Highlands Central Market Food Hall in Downtown Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Titan Development today announced a partnership with Onset Hospitality to curate, program, and manage the new Highlands Central Market food hall located on Central Avenue across the street from Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque’s East Downtown (“EDo”) neighborhood.
The Highlands Central Market will be located on the ground floor of the 126-room Marriott Residence Inn, currently under construction. The broader development project also includes a 118-room SpringHill Suites and features a direct connection to Presbyterian Hospital via a skybridge over Central Avenue.
The project will showcase the region’s vibrant culinary talent while creating a dynamic hub for culture, community, and connection. Visitors can expect a diverse collection of local chef-driven vendors, a full-service bar, outdoor seating, and a robust lineup of cultural programming, all reflecting Albuquerque’s unique and dynamic spirit.
The food hall will be operated by Onset Hospitality, led by industry veteran Jay Coldren, former CEO of the internationally acclaimed Time Out Market, Global Brand Leader for Edition Hotels, and former Managing Director of Dean & Deluca. Coldren, who lived and worked in Santa Fe early in his career, brings decades of expertise in hospitality, community programming, and chef-focused concept development that have helped shape some of the world’s most innovative culinary and cultural destinations.
“We see the Highlands Central Market as a gathering space and community hub for the city that celebrates Albuquerque’s cultural identity for locals and visitors alike,” said Coldren. “This partnership allows us to serve the needs of the neighborhood while creating a destination dining experience that highlights the richness and vibrancy of New Mexico’s culinary scene.”
As a cultural cornerstone and culinary destination, the Highlands Central Market is poised to become a community center for the city and reinforce Albuquerque’s standing as a world-class destination for food, culture, and hospitality.
“Titan welcomes the partnership of Onset Hospitality and looks forward to the addition of quality food options that will serve visitors, nearby employers, and guests of both the SpringHill Suites and Marriott Residence Inn,” said Ben Spencer, co-founder and partner of Titan Development.
