GOLFZON Establishes U.S. As New Global Business Hub To Accelerate Worldwide Growth And Expansion

The leading indoor golf company relocates global business team from South Korea, establishing new Global Business Division led by GOLFZON America CEO Sean Pyun

CHANTILLY, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GOLFZON, the leading global golf platform company, today announced the formation of a new Global Business Division based in Virginia. The move marks a strategic inflection point and realignment of the company’s global growth axis to the U.S. indoor golf market, where demand, innovation, and commercial opportunity are rapidly converging.

GOLFZON has appointed Sean Pyun to lead the new division, and he will serve concurrently as Head of the Global Business Division and CEO of GOLFZON America. Pyun, who served as the LPGA’s Chief Business Officer for the Asian market prior to joining GOLFZON, will build on the company’s success in the United States and drive scalable growth throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and select markets in Southeast Asia.

“Bringing our global business into GOLFZON America uniquely positions GOLFZON to strengthen our global leadership and accelerate traction in the U.S., which features a growing and dynamic simulator golf ecosystem across off-course entertainment venues, indoor golf centers, lesson and fitting facilities, and premium residential installations,” said Pyun. “For our valued customers and partners, the new structure will speed innovation time-to-market, allow us to deliver a premium and consistent product and service experience, along with more dedicated, localized support.”

Multiple market research firms estimate that the global simulator market hit the mid‑$2 billion range in 2025, with projected annual growth approaching 10% in the coming years. While North America and Europe are pacing this growth, the new GOLFZON U.S.-based business unit will build out its team and expand the footprint of indoor golf across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The new Global Business Division will build on GOLFZON’s recent U.S. success, which includes a string of industry partnerships, double-digit annual growth, market leading product innovation, and the success of the second season of the GOLFZON Tour, and, notably:

  • Being named the Official Indoor Golf Simulator of the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open: With GOLFZON, fans and hospitality guests will be able to test their skills while earning prizes with interactive, best-in-class indoor golf simulators onsite at the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open.
  • Enhanced simulator offerings: GOLFZON will more readily scale growing demand for its TwoVisionNX and GDR MAX offerings by integrating GOLFZON’s product team into the Global Business Division, bringing that unit to the U.S. for the first time.
  • Integrations with key industry partners: GOLFZON has built lasting relationships with Pebble Beach, the National Golf Course Owners Association, the Metropolitan Golf Association, Golf Genius, the Northern and Southern California PGA Sections, and the Georgia PGA Section.
  • Growth of The GOLFZON Tour: Season 2 of the GOLFZON Tour expanded in both international reach and innovative technology. The use of GOLFZON’s Network Play functionality allowed the competition to expand from 12 to 72 teams while facilitating real-time matches across continents with teams competing for a $300,000 grand prize. Season 3 begins in June 2026.
