Grovetta Gardineer Joins FS Vector as Senior Advisor

Gardineer strengthens FS Vector’s capabilities in regulatory strategy, prudential oversight and bank chartering after over a decade at the OCC

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FS Vector, a leading strategic consulting firm for companies that are innovating in financial services, announced today the addition of Grovetta Gardineer as Senior Advisor.

Gardineer will support FS Vector’s clients in developing regulatory strategies, engaging prudential regulators, and executing bank charter applications. Known for translating supervisory expectations into actionable guidance for institutions, her addition further enhances the trusted policy and advisory counsel FS Vector provides to its clients.

“Grovetta’s reputation and hands-on experience at the OCC makes her a fantastic addition to our firm,” said John Deignan, CEO of FS Vector. “Her impact will be immediately felt by our clients, and we look forward to seeing the value she provides to companies at the forefront of innovative financial services.”

Gardineer joins after spending 14+ years at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), most recently as a Senior Deputy Comptroller of Bank Supervision Policy. In this role, she led enterprise policy and communications strategy to advance a safe, sound, and fair national banking system. She oversaw policy operations across credit, capital, market, accounting, compliance, fintech, and operational risk, engaging with industry stakeholders to develop and communicate policy positions. Earlier in her time with the OCC, she founded and chaired the OCC Committee on Consumer Issues and the Consumer Issues Steering Committee, strengthening cross-agency coordination with the CFPB and proactively identifying consumer protection risks. She also founded and oversaw a new division handling supervision, policy development, and outreach for Consumer Compliance, CRA and the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Counter-Terrorist Financing.

“FS Vector is committed to developing a safe and future-focused financial ecosystem, which is the same principle that has guided my career thus far,” Gardineer said. “I look forward to engaging with regulators, institutions, and the wider team to help our clients operate with confidence in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.”

The addition of Gardineer further strengthens FS Vector’s position as a leader at the intersection of financial innovation, regulation, and public policy.
