Accuris Appoints Industry Veteran Nick Ecart to Advance Global Standards and Ecosystem Strategy

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accuris, a leader in Engineering Intelligence, today announced that Nick Ecart has joined the company as Vice President, Global Market Development, to help accelerate its global standards and commercial strategy.

With more than 40 years of experience operating at the intersection of standards, intellectual property, and commercial growth, Ecart brings deep industry expertise and a uniquely comprehensive perspective on value creation within the global standards ecosystem.

Throughout his career, Ecart has led initiatives across sales, marketing, product innovation, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions. He has collaborated with leading multinational corporations, government agencies, Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), and National Standards Bodies (NSBs), helping organizations expand global reach and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Most recently, Ecart led the Europe, Middle East, India & Africa region for ASTM International, where he engaged directly with industry stakeholders, national governments, standards bodies, and users of ASTM intellectual property. His leadership helped strengthen regional engagement and deepen strategic relationships across the standards landscape.

Ecart joins Accuris at a pivotal moment for the standards community. As engineering, compliance, and supply chain environments become increasingly digital and interconnected, standards are evolving from static documents to embedded, machine-readable infrastructure integrated directly into enterprise workflows.

“Nick’s experience across commercial strategy, intellectual property, and standards leadership gives him a rare, 360-degree view of how value is created and sustained in this ecosystem,” said Claude Pumilia, CEO of Accuris. “As standards increasingly move from static documents to embedded, workflow-integrated intelligence, his insight will be instrumental in shaping our next phase of growth.”

Ecart joins Accuris at a time of significant industry transformation, as organizations seek more integrated, machine-readable, and workflow-enabled approaches to standards access and compliance.

“The standards landscape is entering a period of meaningful transformation,” said Ecart. “Organizations are looking for trusted content that integrates seamlessly into engineering and compliance systems, enabling smarter decisions and greater operational efficiency. Accuris is well positioned to help lead that evolution, and I’m excited to contribute to the next phase of growth.”

Accuris remains committed to partnering closely with SDOs and NSBs worldwide to advance digital innovation, strengthen trust and provenance, and ensure standards continue to serve as foundational infrastructure for global industry.
