CHG Healthcare Foundation Celebrates 10th Anniversary With $1 Million Given in 2025 and $6 Million Donated to Date

Employee-driven grants, global medical missions, and community partnerships fuel a decade of impact

MIDVALE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The CHG Healthcare Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major milestone: $1 million in community grants awarded in 2025, placing it among the top 8% of U.S. nonprofit grant makers. Since its launch in 2016, the Foundation has provided $6 million in funding to nonprofit partners and supported more than 400 healthcare providers on 350 medical missions across 30 countries worldwide.

The Foundation’s employee‑driven model channels funding to nonprofits where CHG employees volunteer, as well as to global medical missions and disaster‑relief initiatives.

“Our tenth anniversary is really a celebration of our people,” said Julie Sibthorp, president of the CHG Healthcare Foundation. “Every act of volunteerism strengthens our ability to give back. Reaching $1 million in annual giving, and $6 million to date, was made possible through thousands of moments when our people chose generosity.”

Employees like Jason Call see that impact directly. Call, a senior director at Locumsmart, has volunteered at Mountain High School for 15 years. Call and colleagues worked to secure $17,000 in Foundation grants for the alternative high school. That funding supported counseling services and kept a student‑favorite hiking program from being canceled. Their efforts helped push the Foundation over the $1 million threshold.

“Mountain High gave me the chance to give back in a way that feels personal,” said Call. “Seeing CHG employees rally around these students—and watching the Foundation step up to support them—was incredible. I’m blown away by the compassion of our people.”

The Foundation also supported organizations like Fourth Street Clinic, which provides critical healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness. Its mobile outreach services were strengthened by CHG funding.

“The grant from CHG supports our vaccine outreach program that allows us to send a pharmacist and a pharm tech into the homeless resource center, permanent supportive housing locations, respite centers, and out on the street,” said Janida Emerson, CEO of Fourth Street Clinic.

“For ten years, the CHG Healthcare Foundation has been a reflection of who we are as a company,” said Leslie Snavely, CEO of CHG Healthcare. “Our people lead with heart—in their communities, on global medical missions, and in moments of quiet service that often go unseen. This milestone is a testament to that spirit and to the meaningful change we can create together.”

Sibthorp says milestones like these reflect the collective impact of CHG employees and medical providers. “When people continually show up for the causes they believe in, their impact multiplies,” she added. “That’s what a million acts of caring—and a decade of giving—looks like.”
