Artisight Now Runs Epic MyChart Bedside TV, Powering a Fully Connected Smart Hospital Experience

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Artisight announced its integration with Epic MyChart Bedside TV to transform the in-room television into an Epic-aware hub for inpatient care and patient engagement. The official Artisight listing is in Toolbox on Epic Showroom under the Bedside TV Hardware Category. Built with NVIDIA AI infrastructure, Artisight brings a AI-native smart hospital solution to unify bedside hardware, ambient sensing, and virtual care applications into Epic-connected inpatient workflows through a single platform.

Artisight’s Smart Hospital Platform powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin overlays existing hospital infrastructure with AI-powered computer vision, voice recognition, and real-time location services to create a continuous, context-rich view of the bedside that clinicians can access directly within Epic. Cameras, microphones, and bedside televisions become a unified virtual-care network to eliminate fragmented systems, redundant hardware, and workflow friction for clinicians and patients.

From a single All-In-One device and TV, care teams can instantly launch virtual nursing, virtual sitter monitoring, teleconsults, and remote interpreter sessions, or present digital whiteboards, bedside dining, education, and entertainment. Every application runs on the same shared sensor fabric, allowing AI-detected events, voice commands, and video interactions to flow through one edge AI platform and one patient chart in Epic.

With a single link in Epic Hyperspace, Rover, or MyChart Bedside, clinicians and staff can initiate secure two-way video with the correct patient context automatically applied. Completed virtual visits, voice-enabled documentation, and AI-detected safety events are documented in Epic flowsheets and clinical notes in real time, reducing manual data entry and minimizing context switching for care teams.

Under the hood, Artisight’s edge-based architecture performs on-device inferencing, data anonymization, and WebRTC video streaming to keep bandwidth low and privacy high. A simple per-bed license unlocks both current and future AI applications, enabling health systems to scale virtual care, ambient documentation, patient engagement, and safety workflows across inpatient environments.

This expanded MyChart Bedside TV integration through Epic’s Toolbox program builds on Artisight’s connected ecosystem, which spans bedside TV hardware, inpatient virtual care, remote interpretation, RTLS-driven workflow automation, staff duress alerts, bedside dining, remote patient monitoring, vitals and device middleware, and waveform visualization. Together, these integrations position Artisight as a comprehensive smart hospital platform that embeds awareness, automation, and engagement directly into Epic workflows.

“This expansion represents the next step in making the hospital itself an intelligent, connected system,” said Dr. Andrew Gostine, CEO and co-founder of Artisight. “By deeply integrating with Epic across the bedside, virtual care, and operational workflows, we’re eliminating friction for clinicians and creating a more engaging, responsive experience for patients.”

Artisight’s Smart Hospital Platform is already delivering measurable impact for health systems, including reduced patient falls, improved staff efficiency, and scalable virtual care programs that extend the reach of clinical teams. By turning everyday hospital infrastructure into an Epic-aware sensory network, Artisight is helping health systems modernize care delivery while preserving clinician time and focus.

Epic, Haiku, Hyperspace, MyChart, and Rover are registered trademarks of Epic Systems Corporation.
