From Aerospace to Barbecue: Northern Colorado Father of Eight Brings New Ownership to Fort Collins and Greeley

FORT COLLINS & GREELEY, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northern Colorado resident Jason Hubbard has acquired two local Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations, bringing new ownership to the Fort Collins and Greeley communities as he makes a career shift from aerospace industry to barbecue.

Hubbard brings his supply chain expertise from the aerospace industry and now owns the Dickey’s located at 2721 S. College Ave in Fort Collins and 6628 W. 10th Street in Greeley. A father of eight with deep ties to the region, his decision to become a Franchise Owner was driven by a desire to connect with the local community and create a welcoming place for guests to enjoy Legit. Texas. Barbecue.

"Barbecue is about more than just great food; it’s about bringing people together," said Jason Hubbard. "As a father of eight, I know the importance of a community space where families can gather. I’m excited to apply my professional background to these locations and serve the Fort Collins and Greeley communities with the same dedication I give to my family."

"We are a family business and we are strongest when our restaurants are led by Owner Operators who are deeply rooted in their communities," said Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. " Jason’s commitment to his family and his neighbors reflects the hospitality and care our brand was built on."

To celebrate the new ownership, the Greeley location will host a Guest Appreciation Event on Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 1, and the Fort Collins location on Saturday, February 7 to Sunday, February 8, both offering in-store specials on those days including:

  • $4.99 Pulled Pork Sandwiches
  • Buy One, Get One FREE 2-Meat Plate (with the purchase of two Big Yellow Cups)
  • Buy One Sandwich Combo, Get One 1/2 Off
  • FREE Big Yellow Cup (with the purchase of a Brisket Sandwich)

Hubbard and his team invite longtime guests and first-time visitors alike to stop by and enjoy the specials to help celebrate the next chapter for the Fort Collins and Greeley communities.
