DryWater Secures NSF Certified For Sport Designation, Elevating Clean Performance Hydration

Official Hydration Partner of LOVB Brings Batch-Tested, Third-Party Verified Quality to the Court and Beyond

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DryWater, the real-fruit electrolyte and vitamin powder disrupting the hydration category, today announced it has achieved NSF Certified for Sport® status, a globally recognized standard for supplement safety, quality, and transparency. The certification marks the brand’s entry into professional sports to deliver performance-driven hydration for elite and emerging athletes, coinciding with its role as a founding partner of League One Volleyball (LOVB) as the league enters its second season.

NSF Certified for Sport is one of the most rigorous independent certifications in sports nutrition, requiring strict testing on every batch of product for banned substances, ingredient verification, and manufacturing quality control. DryWater ensures further quality control through its own comprehensive testing across all 34 ingredients in its hydration formula, along with annual quality and label audits at every manufacturing location for accuracy and efficacy.

"Earning NSF Certification validates what we've built from day one – the cleanest, most tested hydration powder on earth,” said Bryan Appio, Founder and CEO of DryWater. “From youth sports all the way to the pros, athletes and teams need products they can trust, and this certification confirms that DryWater meets the safety and quality standards required at the top levels of competition. As we continue to revolutionize cellular hydration and expand further into professional sports, we remain committed to maintaining the highest standards in the industry."

The multi-year LOVB partnership sees DryWater fueling athletes spanning the league’s entire youth-to-pro ecosystem – from professional matches featuring Olympic athletes and NCAA champions, to LOVB's youth network of more than 22,000 athletes, 3,500 coaches, and 92 locations across the country. Together, DryWater and LOVB are committed to empowering female athletes to prioritize their well-being, building resiliency and confidence both on and off the court.

“DryWater is a powerful partner for LOVB,” said Michelle McGoldrick, LOVB Chief Business Officer. “From youth athletes to the professional stage, hydration fuels how athletes train, recover, and perform every day. Together, we’re building the habits and mindset that help athletes take care of their bodies and compete at their best.”

The DryWater logo will be featured on athlete jerseys, and product will be available to all athletes across professional matches, major tournaments and youth club programs, supporting complete hydration at the cellular level.

DryWater’s entry into the sports market reflects broader consumer demand for functional, clean-label hydration products that deliver nutritional support without added sugar, artificial ingredients, or excess sodium. Each 11-gram stick combines real, whole fruit with six key electrolytes, five essential vitamins, including B vitamins, vitamin C, minerals, and glycine – all third-party tested and NSF Certified Sport.

DryWater is currently available in Walgreens and Walmart locations nationwide, with further retail expansion coming in 2026. A 12-stick pack retails for $30, with discounts available for higher quantities and subscription purchases. For more information on DryWater, visit drywater.com.
