Adams Street Names Michael Kurlander Chief Operating Officer; Announces Four Partner Promotions

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Adams Street Partners, LLC, a private markets investment management firm with more than $65 billion in assets under management (“Adams Street”), today announced that Michael Kurlander, Partner & Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, in addition to his current responsibilities. The firm also announced four partner promotions.

In his expanded role, Kurlander will continue to oversee the firm’s financial strategy, while also leading the firm’s operations and supporting the firm’s long-term growth and organizational scale.

• Ali Cliff, Growth Equity – Cliff joined Adams Street in 2016 and focuses on growth investments across application software, fintech, consumer and digital health
• Kristina Milberg, Investor Relations – Milberg joined Adams Street in 2016 and supports the firm’s capital raising activities and manages client relationships across the United States
• Steve Montag, Accounting and Tax – Montag joined Adams Street in 2014 and oversees the firm’s accounting and tax function, including teams responsible for the accounting, reporting and administration of Adams Street’s management companies, funds and investments
