Joseph C. Ballman Elected to CHPA Board of Directors, Succeeding Jeff Reich After Two Terms

CHANTILLY, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway company and the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and transition services, today announced that Joseph C. Ballman, CCHP, has been elected to the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) Board of Directors. Ballman will replace Jeff Reich, who has concluded two consecutive terms (six years) of board service.

This update follows CORT’s prior announcement in 2020 when Jeff Reich was elected to the CHPA Board of Directors. That announcement is available on Furniture Today:

Ballman Brings Deep Industry and Operational Expertise

Joe Ballman is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida (Class of ’91) and has built a career defined by leadership, integrity, and results. Over the past 28 years, he has held key roles in both operations and national sales within the furniture rental and relocation industry. Ballman spent his first decade running all locations throughout the state of Florida for Aaron's, where he focused on operational excellence and client retention. Following CORT’s acquisition of Aaron’s in 2008, he transitioned into national sales and has been a driving force for the past 18 years, developing relationships throughout the corporate housing, multifamily and furniture rental industries while providing the highest levels of service for his clients.

His achievements include being a two-time recipient of CORT’s prestigious President’s Circle of Excellence, awarded to the top salesperson nationwide. A Certified Corporate Housing Professional (CCHP), Ballman has actively supported CHPA initiatives and is passionate about advancing the corporate housing industry.

Joe Ballman shared:

“I’m honored to join the CHPA Board and look forward to collaborating with industry leaders to strengthen partnerships and deliver innovative solutions for our clients.”

Jeff Reich reflected on his tenure:

“Serving on the CHPA Board for the past six years has been an incredible experience. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together and confident that Joe’s expertise and commitment will help drive the association forward.”

Nick Estrada, CAE, CMP, CEO of CHPA, added:

“We congratulate Joe Ballman on his election to the CHPA Board of Directors. His leadership, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to excellence will be invaluable as we continue advancing CHPA’s mission to support and elevate the corporate housing industry. We are excited to work alongside Joe as we strengthen strategic partnerships and drive innovation.”

CORT extends its gratitude to Jeff Reich for his leadership and board service over two terms. His contributions have helped advance CHPA’s strategic objectives and foster collaboration across the industry.
