PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cognite, the global leader in Industrial AI, today announced 2025 was yet another record-breaking year across all metrics and parameters. Cognite’s MoonShot goal, announced in 2025, of delivering a cumulative value of $100 billion to customers across industrial sectors by 2035 drives all company decisions and fuels the company’s momentum.

Cognite exceeded $170 million annual revenue ending fiscal year 2025.

“As countries and companies re-factor the global spread of their manufacturing presence, they want to do it right with a platform of AI and Data that optimizes production, reduces operating costs and mitigates risk,” said Girish Rishi, Chairman and CEO of Cognite. “Our company was founded to deliver a paradigm change in the long legacy of industrial digitalization; in 2026, we raise the bar again to exceed our customers’ ambitions.”

Product Innovation and Momentum

The impressive financial growth in 2025 was accompanied by significant increases in customer consumption. New capabilities in Cognite’s quarterly product releases, as well as the major release of Atlas AI, drove unprecedented scale and usage.

Compared to the previous year, Cognite customers’ knowledge graph exceeded 80 trillion time series data points in context — up 48%, doubled the number of data modeling instances, and increased AI token usage by nearly 500%. The number of monthly active users continues to climb, growing at 26%.

Customers showcased their use cases, realized value, and scaled plans at Impact 2025, Cognite’s global industry conference held in Houston, Texas. The event more than doubled in size from the prior year and expanded in scope, drawing customers from around the world, partners, media, industry analysts, and investors. This ARC Advisory Group article captures an industry analyst’s perspective on the company’s strategy, key product and partnership announcements and customer energy experienced at the event.

Cognite’s customer and product momentum hasn’t gone unnoticed by other Industry analysts, with Verdantix naming Cognite a leader for Industrial AI Analytics and Industrial Data Management in two separate reports published in 2025.

Global Expansion

In 2025, Cognite established its global headquarters in Arizona, and expanded its presence in India, while the genesis of Cognite in Norway continues to grow. Cognite also expanded its customer-facing offices in Houston and Tokyo in 2025, and established a new presence in Abu Dhabi to better serve customers in the Emirates and broader middle east region. Cognite strengthened its global leadership team with high performance leaders who bring contemporary technology skills and deep industrial domain expertise.

MoonShot Momentum

With customers already having identified $2 billion in additional business value with Cognite, the company is galvanizing to realize its audacious MoonShot to deliver $100 billion in cumulative business value to industrial customers by 2035.
