Delta Dental of Idaho Awards Grants to Strengthen Oral Health Across the State

Selected organizations will undertake projects improving care delivery, prevention, and oral health outcomes.

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delta Dental of Idaho, the state’s leading individual dental benefits carrier, announced the recipients of its Fall 2025 Oral Health Grant Program. Grants were awarded to four nonprofit organizations supporting community-based initiatives that strengthen dental infrastructure, expand access to care, and improve oral health outcomes for underserved Idahoans.

2025 Grant Recipient Organizations and Programs:

  • Desert Sage Health Centers
    Supports the redesign of a pediatric dental operatory at the Mountain Home clinic, creating a more comfortable and supportive environment for young patients.
  • Harmony Health Foundation
    Launches Smiles Connected Idaho, a saliva-based teledentistry pilot improving access to oral health assessments for underserved communities.
  • Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children
    Implements Start Smiling Idaho, an oral health education and prevention pilot integrated into Early Learning Collaboratives across the state.
  • Wellness Tree Community Clinic
    Upgrades essential dental exam room equipment, expanding the clinic’s capacity to serve low-income and uninsured patients.

A committee of Delta Dental senior leaders and an external dental professional evaluated submissions based on clearly defined needs, objectives, mission alignment, and relevance to historically under-resourced communities.
