Sculptor Closes CLO XXXVII With $408 Million

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sculptor Capital Management, Inc. (“Sculptor” or the “Firm”), a leading global alternative asset manager specializing in opportunistic investing, announced today the closing of Sculptor CLO XXXVII (“Sculptor CLO 37” or “CLO 37”), a $408 million collateral loan obligation (CLO) transaction. With the closing of CLO 37, Sculptor currently manages a global suite of 34 CLOs and CBOs totaling approximately $13 billion across both the US and Europe.

Sculptor CLO 37 is backed by a near-fully ramped $400 million portfolio of senior secured loans and will have a five-year reinvestment and two-year non-call period. The transaction saw strong engagement across the capital structure, including a significant investment from a strategic third-party equity investor, and benefitted from deep, long-standing relationships we’ve built with our investor base. This echoes strong demand across both debt and equity tranches from a diverse group of leading global institutions. CLO 37 was arranged by BNP Paribas which follows a similarly successful transaction closing of CLO 35, also arranged by BNP Paribas, earlier this year.

Josh Eisenberger, Executive Managing Director and Sculptor’s Head of U.S. CLO Management, said, “The closing of CLO 37 reflects the continued strength and consistency of our credit platform. Active loan trading during April and May 2025—particularly following the post-Liberation Day market sell-off—contributed to a very strong CLO warehouse ramp and culminated in this successful transaction closing. This achievement highlights the effectiveness of our active management mindset, portfolio construction, and long-term performance through multiple cycles.”

With the closing of Sculptor CLO 37, Sculptor has issued 48 CLOs and CBOs across the US and Europe since 2012. Collectively, as of December 3, 2025, Sculptor manages approximately $23 billion in credit assets globally across a broad range of strategies leveraging its core capabilities in corporate, asset-based, and real estate credit.
