Cambia Health Foundation Invests $1.2 Million to Advance Whole-Person Health
Grant funding supports behavioral health access and workforce development across Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambia Health Foundation today announced $1.2 million in grants distributed to organizations working to improve health outcomes across Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. The funding prioritizes programs that take a whole-person health approach, addressing the inseparable physical, behavioral and social factors that contribute to overall well-being.
"We're honored to support organizations that bring together all aspects of health, especially for the most vulnerable members of our community who often face the biggest barriers to care," said Peggy Maguire, president of Cambia Health Foundation. "Through these investments, we're working to remove those barriers and create pathways to healthier, happier lives for everyone."
Now in the fourth year of its five-year strategy to advance whole-person health, these grants bring the Foundation's investment to over $6.7 million across its three focus areas: building resilience among children and families, supporting people as they age and strengthening our health care workforce. The 28 most recent grant recipients represent diverse approaches to improving community health, united by their commitment to serving those who need support most.
