ONDA Continues Growth With Two New Associate Hires

Emerging family law attorneys join one of Texas’ largest family law practices

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson is pleased to announce the addition of associates Avery Bragg and Valeria S. Villagomez further strengthening the firm’s capabilities across North Texas.

Ms. Bragg, a Dallas native and 2025 graduate of Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, joins the firm’s Frisco office. She has been admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is an active member of the family law and litigation sections, the Dallas Bar Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.

During law school, she gained significant experience representing young clients through her work in the LSU Law Clinic and assisting with domestic abuse matters during an externship with a district attorney’s office. She also earned recognition as a member of the Board of Advocates Honors Group.

“Avery brings an impressive level of maturity, empathy and legal insight at this early stage in her career,” said partner Scott Downing. “Family law requires a steady hand and a strong heart, and she has both. We are excited to welcome her to ONDA.”

Ms. Villagomez joins ONDA’s Dallas office after earning her law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Her background includes substantial hands-on experience in family law through her work supporting attorneys with pleadings, research, hearings and mediations. She also served in an advocacy clinic, where she managed a varied caseload, appeared in court and guided clients through sensitive legal matters.

She also assisted survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, conducting client intakes, drafting filings and helping prepare matters involving family law and immigration issues.

“Valeria is deeply committed to serving families, and she brings a level of drive and compassion that aligns perfectly with our values,” said Mr. Downing. “Her combined clinic and advocacy work gives her a strong foundation for serving families with compassion and care.”
