“With every mile, we’re seeing SuperDrive™ demonstrate the safety and scale that’s possible when advanced AI is factory-integrated with trusted truck platforms. By partnering directly with OEMs, we are working to transform logistics by making thousands of SuperDrive-enabled autonomous trucks available to fleets,” said David Liu, CEO and Co-Founder of PlusAI. “I’m excited to see the tremendous progress we are making in our commercial programs to meet our commercial launch timeline.”

PlusAI has achieved key commercial and technology milestones in 2025, including:

  • Started commercial pilots with International and select fleet operators along the Interstate-35 corridor between Laredo and Dallas;
  • Successful driver-out technology validation tests of fully autonomous operations and handling of advanced safety maneuvers with no person in the truck;
  • On-target completion of commercial readiness KPIs: 86% Safety Case Readiness (SCR); 98% Autonomous Miles Percentage (AMP); and 76% Remote Assistance Free Trips (RAFT), in the first half of 2025, up from 75%, 97%, and 69%, respectively, in the second half of 2024; and
  • Established a Safety and Policy Advisory Council with transportation, logistics, and government experts who have led key regulatory and advocacy bodies including the American Trucking Associations (ATA), American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). One member is a former U.S. Congressman.

Going into 2026, PlusAI plans to expand integration testing with its OEM partners, start driverless operations, and continue validation of the SuperDrive™ virtual driver across key freight corridors, building toward the next phase of customer pilots and the start of series production.

“Each Best in Business honoree achieved a breakthrough moment this year. Some unveiled groundbreaking innovations while others launched savvy marketing campaigns or strategically implemented AI in their companies,” says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “No matter what their business win looked like, their projects and initiatives had a sizable impact on their company and even on their industry at large, making them worthy of this honor.”
