JetBlue Adds New Nonstop Flights from Buffalo and Syracuse, Expanding Commitment to Upstate New York

New York’s Hometown Airline® continues growth in Upstate New York, strengthening its position as the leading carrier connecting the Northeast with Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) today announced new nonstop service from Buffalo (BUF) to both Fort Myers (RSW) and San Juan (SJU), along with new service between Syracuse (SYR) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) beginning in March. These additions continue JetBlue’s ongoing commitment to invest in and grow its presence across Upstate and Western New York, bringing more convenient travel options and the airline’s award-winning customer experience to even more travelers.

These new routes also build on JetBlue’s recently announced plan to launch service between Rochester (ROC) and Orlando (MCO). Together, these additions highlight the airline’s clear commitment to expanding low fares and high-quality service throughout New York—strengthening regional connectivity and enhancing travel options for local customers.

“Upstate New York continues to be a key growth region for JetBlue, and today’s announcement is another example of our long-term commitment to our home state,” said Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airport partnerships, JetBlue. “Customers across the Upstate area know and trust JetBlue for our low fares and the experience we deliver like our comfortable onboard seating, free high-speed Wi-Fi, free seatback entertainment, and the caring, award-winning service our crewmembers provide. We’re excited to bring more of what travelers love about JetBlue to Buffalo and Syracuse.”

“Upstate New Yorkers should prepare for takeoff because JetBlue is establishing a new flight between San Juan and Buffalo Niagara International Airport and bringing back additional flights from Upstate New York to Florida. With winter at the doorstep, these new connections to sunny destinations are a win-win for Upstate New Yorkers and businesses who will benefit greatly from more direct flights,” said U.S. Senator Charles Schumer of New York. “I have long urged JetBlue to add even more routes in Upstate New York, and I am very pleased to welcome these new ones.”

Customers on these routes will enjoy the airline’s award-winning service; fast, free unlimited Fly-Fi®; seatback entertainment at every seat and complimentary snacks and drinks.1

To celebrate the launch of these new routes, JetBlue will offer limited-time introductory fares, now available for purchase on jetblue.com: 2

  • Buffalo to Fort Myers starting at $59 one-way
