HELP USA Expands Board and Appoints Chief Administrative Officer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HELP USA, the national homeless services provider and developer of affordable and supportive housing, announced the election of David Greenberg and Munish Khaneja, MD, to its Board of Directors and the appointment of Jeremiah Schofield as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The leadership updates come as HELP USA marks 40 years of impact and innovation in the face of rising homelessness and housing insecurity nationwide.

“These leadership additions reflect our commitment to deliver best-in-class services to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity,” said Dan Lehman, President & CEO of HELP USA. “David and Munish deepen the Board’s expertise, adding capacity in publicly funded programs and healthcare-related services; while Jeremiah’s administrative operations experience in large, complex organizations is invaluable as HELP USA continues to grow in scale and scope.”

Greenberg is Chief Financial Officer at Vibrant Emotional Health and previously served at the NYC Office of Management and Budget, most recently as Deputy Director for all Health & Social Services agencies and programs.

“Fiscal discipline, transparency, and smart allocation are how we sustain impact at scale,” Greenberg said. “I look forward to working with HELP USA’s leadership to ensure every dollar advances housing stability.”

Khaneja is Chief Medical Officer at Parachute Health, with prior executive roles at CareAbout Health and HealthEdge and board service at Partners in Care, Corp. and Consensus Health.

“Data-driven, value-based care and coordinated services are essential to health and housing stability,” Khaneja said. “I look forward to contributing that perspective to discussions HELP USA’s future.”

As Chief Administrative Officer, Jeremiah Schofield will oversee Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing, and Leasing & Real Estate management for program operations, with a focus on enhancing organizational systems and cross-functional performance in support of frontline programs.

Schofield said, “The mission is best served by reliable systems and better tools—my job is to make those real for staff and sites,” Schofield said. “I look forward to partnering across programs to remove obstacles and support results.”

The additions of David Greenberg and Munish Khaneja, MD, to the Board and the appointment of Jeremiah Schofield as CAO underscore a strategy of smart growth and cross-sector expertise—pairing safe, stable housing with modernized systems and wraparound services to help individuals and families stay housed.
