Tungsten Automation Obtains FedRAMP ‘In-Process’ Designation

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tungsten Automation, a global leader in AI-powered intelligent document and workflow automation, announces that it has attained the FedRAMP® ‘In-Process’ designation at the High Impact Level under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This critical milestone applies to the Tungsten TotalAgility® Cloud Platform — an analyst-recognized leading platform in Intelligent Automation, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and Process Orchestration.

“Tungsten’s FedRAMP 'In-Process' designation represents a major milestone for our company and underscores our dedication to enabling government agencies to carry out their missions more efficiently and securely,” said Peter Hantman CEO, of Tungsten Automation. “Our solutions are designed to meet the complex needs of government entities, and this recognition strengthens our ability to align with the new administration’s mandates of efficiency and transparency.”

The FedRAMP ‘In-Process’ status demonstrates Tungsten Automation’s commitment to meeting the stringent cloud security standards established by the U.S. federal government. With this foundation, Tungsten is positioned to help federal agencies and contractors automate manual processes, deliver low-code/no-code applications, and scale improvements across both internal and citizen-facing operations.

“Carahsoft works closely with our vendor partners and reseller network to help Government agencies access innovative solutions while meeting Federal compliance requirements,” said Ryan Balogh, Program Manager for FedRAMP Initiatives at Carahsoft. “Tungsten Automation’s TotalAgility Cloud Platform achieving the FedRAMP ‘In-Process’ designation at the High Impact Level strengthens our ability to help agencies modernize workflows, enhance security and improve citizen services.”

FedRAMP’s standardized controls will enable Tungsten solutions to securely interconnect with other FedRAMP-authorized systems, supporting seamless integration and collaboration across government environments. Tungsten is also committed to supporting StateRAMP initiatives, further broadening its impact across federal, state, and local government operations.

Our FedRAMP ‘In-Process’ status follows Tungsten’s recent recognition as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Intelligent Document Processing Solutions. It is also complemented by the recent launch of the latest TotalAgility release. This release introduces capabilities such as Knowledge Discovery, which unlocks hidden insights from unstructured content, and scalable, tiered automation, enabling organizations to start small and expand as needed. Together, these advancements reinforce Tungsten’s commitment to transforming operations and delivering value across the public and private sectors.

Celebrating 40 years of public-sector experience, including decades under the Kofax brand, Tungsten Automation serves as a trusted partner to the public sector. Tungsten solutions—used today by hundreds of U.S. government agencies—modernize operations, improve efficiency and mission speed, strengthen decision-making, and enhance citizen services while integrating with existing systems to avoid disruptive rip-and-replace initiatives.

FedRAMP High Authority to Operate (ATO) for the Tungsten TotalAgility Cloud Platform is targeted for Q1 2026.
