NRG Expands “Meals for Millions” to Support Families Across the Country

$400,000 commitment benefits food assistance programs that serve communities

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG), together with its brands Reliant and Vivint, today announced a more than $400,000 commitment to food banks and hunger relief organizations through its Meals for Millions initiative. This effort, along with hundreds of employee volunteer hours, comes at a critical time for millions of families.

Through PositiveNRG, the company’s charitable giving program, NRG is partnering with local and regional organizations to strengthen food assistance programs. These efforts reflect NRG’s ongoing commitment to bringing essential resources to communities.
