ServiceNow and SENAI-SP Launch Statewide AI Skills Program to Power Brazil’s Digital Future

Academic partnership delivers hands-on AI platform training, certifications, and job readiness support to prepare Brazilians for high-demand tech careers

SÃO PAULO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, at the annual ServiceNow São Paulo Summit, ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the AI platform for business transformation, and SENAI-SP, Latin America’s largest technical education institution, announced a statewide training and certification program designed to equip Brazilians with the skills needed to succeed in an AI-driven world.

Launching as part of ServiceNow University, the program will combine localized content and instructor-led courses with practical labs and real-world case studies. Students will gain technical skills in AI, digital workflow automation, and low-code/no-code development, along with certification pathways and job readiness support to help connect learning directly to employment opportunities.

“This partnership is more than an educational initiative, it is a catalyst for Brazil’s digital future,” said Federico Grosso, group vice president of Latin America at ServiceNow. “By combining scale, technology, and employability, we’re training and preparing Brazilians to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy. These skills are critical to our growing ecosystem of customers and partners who rely on ServiceNow to drive innovation and productivity.”

The initiative aims to train hundreds of learners in 2025 alone, contributing to ServiceNow University’s global goal of upskilling 3 million people by 2027. It naturally aligns with Brazil’s National Digital Transformation Strategy and SENAI’s mission to strengthen industrial competitiveness through innovation and technical education.

The program is fully localized, providing Portuguese-language training and content for learners, tailored to the region’s job market. SENAI-SP, which serves 1 million learners annually, will leverage its extensive network and credibility in local communities to ensure broad access, especially for youth apprentices, jobseekers, and career-switchers. Building on a successful pilot program with a certification completion rate of over 70% and strong graduate employability, the initiative is generating growing interest across SENAI-SP units and is set to serve as a model for broader expansion in Latin America.

“Preparing professionals for the challenges of the digital economy requires foresight and strong industry ties,” said Emerson Costa Santos, Director of the SENAI-SP Information Technology Unit. “By integrating ServiceNow’s AI Platform into our training ecosystem, we are giving students a competitive edge aligned with Industry 4.0.”
