AM Best to Participate at Agricultural & Applied Economic Association and Western Agricultural Economics Association’s Joint Annual Meeting

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate in the Agricultural & Applied Economic Association (AAEA) and the Western Agricultural Economics Association’s (WAEA) joint annual meeting, which will be held July 27-29, 2025, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, in Denver, CO.

AM Best Associate Director Connor Brach will give a presentation on agricultural risk management and the U.S. crop insurance industry’s role in helping farmers mitigate the impact of extreme weather events and commodity price volatility. The session, titled, “Industry Perspectives on Agricultural Risk Management,” will include financial results of crop insurers, as well as rating services and innovative initiatives that can have important implications for more effective risk management solutions in an uncertain future. The session is scheduled for July 29, at 4:30 p.m. (MDT).

Brach has been with AM Best since 2015 and is responsible for the rating and analysis of a diversified portfolio of property/casualty insurance companies. He also is currently the lead author on AM Best’s market segment reports covering the U.S. crop insurance segment.
