LOWELL, Mass. & WESTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UKG, a leading provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, today announced that it has been recognized as a Leader in the Nucleus Research SMB HCM Technology Value Matrix for the fifth year in a row. The 2025 report closely examines the all-in-one UKG Ready® suite, which has recently been enhanced with the UKG Bryte™, UKG Ready Great Place To Work® Hub, and the transformative UKG One View™ multi-country payroll offerings to help organizations simplify and streamline often complex workforce processes.

The Nucleus Research SMB HCM Technology Value Matrix is a yearly, in-depth assessment of the human capital management (HCM) sector, analyzing how technology providers address current customer needs while also planning for future demands. UKG was positioned highest in the market for product usability and among the highest for product functionality.

“The UKG Ready suite is a real difference maker for us. We’re fortunate to have the right partner in UKG and the right technology to make our organization work better,” said Michael LaChance, chief executive officer at YMCA of Greater Nashua, which uses the UKG Ready solution to simplify its core HR, provide real-time analytics, and streamline processes. “We value UKG in helping to make ours a more efficient, robust, and purposeful workplace so that we can serve our community now and well into the future.”

In its report, Nucleus highlights the value delivered by differentiated UKG offerings, such as UKG Ready’s retention predictors that can help to identify employees that may be a flight risk, the delivery of personalized information and actionable insights to each individual based on role, and its availability in 17 languages. Other recent enhancements include:

  • UKG Ready Expense Tracking, which simplifies and streamlines the expense management process, using automated workflows to ensure accurate approvals that flow directly into payroll;
  • UKG Ready Project Costing, designed for easy and accurate project finance management, including budgeting, time tracking, and analytics against specific projects; and
  • UKG Ready ACA Manager, which has been enhanced to help U.S. organizations more easily manage Affordable Care Act compliance by filing directly within UKG Ready.

“UKG Ready is consistently positioned as a Leader for small and mid-sized organizations for HCM due to the power of its simple, efficient all-in-one suite approach,” said Evelyn McMullen, research manager at Nucleus Research. “UKG’s ability to deliver streamlined versions of differentiators like UKG Bryte, UKG Great Place To Work Hub, and UKG One View, that are specifically tailored for organizations with smaller teams, helps ensure that organizations of all sizes, regardless of complexity, can meet their goals.”

UKG recently introduced the full-suite UKG Ready experience in Canada, offering an all-in-one experience to small and mid-sized Canadian businesses, as well as U.S. businesses operating in Canada, which includes HR, talent, time, and scheduling, as well as Canadian native payroll.
