(NYSE: EHAB), a leading home health and hospice provider, today announced that it has achieved Level 2 recognition as an Age-Friendly Health System – Committed to Care Excellence by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). This prestigious recognition honors Enhabit’s dedication to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to older adults, ensuring their unique needs and preferences are consistently met.

The Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative, led by The John A. Hartford Foundation and IHI in partnership with the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA), focuses on the 4Ms framework: What Matters, Medication, Mentation and Mobility. This framework ensures that care is tailored to the individual needs of older adults, promoting their overall well-being and enhancing their quality of life.
