Gresham Partners Promotes Irene Zhang to Investment Director

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gresham Partners, LLC (“Gresham”), an independent investment and wealth management firm that manages $9 billion* for select families and family offices, is pleased to announce the promotion of Irene Zhang to Investment Director.

Since joining Gresham in 2020, Zhang has steadily expanded her impact on the investment team and across the firm. She has played a key role in evaluating and selecting external managers, developing investment strategies, and overseeing private market investments, including buyout, growth, venture, and private real assets. Over the past two years, Zhang has demonstrated strong leadership by sourcing and leading several investments in the firm’s private portfolio.

In her new role, Zhang will be a senior member of the private team, responsible for sourcing opportunities, conducting due diligence, and maintaining relationships with external managers. She will report to Sean Warrington, Partner and Head of Private Investments.

Prior to joining Gresham, Zhang worked in PwC’s Deals practice, advising Fortune 500 clients on complex accounting issues during M&A transactions. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Master of Accounting Science with a concentration in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
