AM Best to Sponsor and Discuss State of Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprise Market at 2025 Florida Insurance Market Summit

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate in and sponsor the upcoming Florida Insurance Market Summit, which will take place Feb. 12-14, 2025, in Orlando, FL, at the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa.

AM Best Associate Director, Industry Relations (DUAE), Dawn Walker will be a guest speaker during a session, titled, “The Evolution of Delegated Underwriting: Navigating Continued Innovation and Growth.” This session will delve into AM Best’s 2025 outlook for the Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprise (DUAE) market. Walker also will provide an overview into the process of assessing DUAEs, and touch on the market’s prospective growth, as well as the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector. She also will discuss the value that the Best’s Performance Assessment for DUAEs brings to these entities individually and to the market. The session is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Feb. 13. Walker has been with AM Best since 2022 and has more than 15 years of insurance industry and risk management experience.

The summit is jointly hosted by Aon and Colodny Fass, and brings together insurance and reinsurance executives, senior management and sponsors from organizations serving the Florida insurance market.
