Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and Hancock Whitney Bank Award $105K in Grants to Louisiana Nonprofits

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Hancock Whitney Bank will award $75,000 in Heirs’ Property Program grants to Desire Community Housing Corporation, Divine Touch Community Development Center and Louisiana Appleseed. The Heirs’ Property Program funds will be used in part to help educate homebuyers regarding heirs’ issues and legal services.

A $30,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) grant to Coastal Communities Consulting (CCC) will be used for organizational capacity building, such as staff to provide technical assistance and administration expenses.

The funds will be presented during a ceremonial check presentation on Tuesday, February 4.
