New York Life Real Estate Investors hires Natalia Todorov as Head of Commercial Mortgage Lending for the Western Region

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New York Life Real Estate Investors (NYLREI) today announced the hiring of Natalia Todorov as head of commercial mortgage lending for the Western Region. Todorov will oversee a team responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring, and negotiating various real estate debt investments. She will report to Rob Boyd, head of commercial mortgage lending, and will work closely with Eric Becher, head of the Central Region, and Scott Ingham, head of the Eastern Region.

“Natalia’s expertise will be a tremendous asset as we continue to increase our commercial mortgage lending activities and provide an improved framework for portfolio growth and value creation for both New York Life’s policy owners and our third-party investors,” said Mark Talgo, head of NYLREI. “Her experience, commercial orientation, and strong network on the West Coast make her uniquely qualified to further strengthen our evolving debt platform and support us in further capitalizing on emerging lending opportunities.”

Todorov has more than 20 years of real estate experience, most recently serving as executive director at PGIM Real Estate, where she was responsible for originating a broad range of commercial mortgage products throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. Previously, Todorov also held notable commercial real estate roles at Wells Fargo and Redwood Trust.

She earned a B.A. degree in economics from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
